About the Job
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Performing repairs and calibrations of radiation detection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
    • Receiving and logging radiation monitors onto the calibration database.
    • Ensuring monitor calibrations meet the correct standard prior to return to the client.
    • Identifying faults in customer instrumentation and implementing necessary repairs before calibration.
    • Performing Hazardous Area compliance checks on customer equipment.
    • Providing technical support to customers as needed, supporting the Support Services team.
    • Packaging customer equipment (radiation monitors) appropriately for return shipment.
    • Continuously improving processes and duties.
    • Maintaining good communication with customer support staff to support customer needs.
    • Working in accordance with company health and safety procedures to ensure safe operation.
  • Requirements:
    • Education in Science & Technology related subjects.
    • Experience in service and maintenance of portable electronic equipment.
