Job Overview

This role involves conducting medical assessments to ensure the health and safety of employees in a workplace setting.

The Occupational Health Nurse will work closely with management and staff to develop and implement health programs aimed at reducing workplace injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting pre-employment medical assessments to identify potential health risks
  • Performing onsite periodic medical assessments to monitor employee health
  • Providing musculoskeletal assessments, spirometry, audiometry, and immunization services as required
  • Offering early intervention triage services to address employee health concerns
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in audiometric testing and spirometry testing
  • Immunization certification
  • Australian driver's license and reliable transport
  • First Aid + CPR qualifications
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Commitment to ethical behavior and conduct
