Job Title: Disability Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily activities such as cleaning, decluttering, and personal care
  • Prepare meals and monitor medication intake according to individual needs
  • Accompany clients on community outings and social events
  • Provide emotional support and promote independence through goal-setting and skill-building activities
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (desired)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in the disability sector
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Screening check required
  • First Aid certification and CPR skills
  • Australian driver's license and comprehensive vehicle insurance
  • Right to work in Australia
