Perinatal Therapist

Our team is seeking a skilled Perinatal Psychologist/Accredited Mental Health Social Worker to deliver face-to-face psychological support at Gidget House Cowra. As a specialist perinatal clinician, you will provide individual, couple, and parent-infant therapies to women and their partners who are experiencing or at risk of developing perinatal depressive, anxiety, and trauma or stressor-related disorders.

Support will also be provided to those who have experienced pregnancy or childbirth-related loss, such as stillbirth, miscarriage, or termination. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability to work within a recovery-oriented model, utilising a person/family centred approach. High level communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
