• Provide a child-centered learning environment that supports active inquiry, exploration, and problem-solving.\
• Build secure, respectful relationships with children and families.\
• Analyse the needs of children and their families to inform teaching practices.\
• Develop and maintain records of children's progress and development.\
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.\
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve goals and objectives.\

• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.\
• Adhere to policies and procedures related to child safety, well-being, and protection.\

• Manage classroom environments to ensure safety and promote learning.\
• Plan and implement engaging and challenging learning activities.\
• Assess and record student performance and progress.\
• Adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.\
• Use technology effectively to support teaching and learning.\
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student data and progress.\
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed.\
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists or occupational therapists, to address specific student needs.\
• Supervise students during recess, outdoor play, and other activities.\
• Establish clear expectations and boundaries for student behavior.\
• Cultivate a growth mindset in students and encourage them to take risks and learn from failures.\
• Model respectful communication and conflict resolution strategies.\
• Support students in developing social skills, such as cooperation, empathy, and self-awareness.\
• Provide guidance on organizational skills, time management, and goal-setting.\
• Foster a love of reading and writing in students.\
• Encourage curiosity and creativity in students through hands-on activities and projects.\
• Teach students about diversity, equity, and inclusion.\
• Help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\
• Support students in developing emotional intelligence and self-regulation skills.\
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.\
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and set goals.\
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about student progress.\
• Communicate with parents about upcoming events, trips, and important dates.\
• Host regular meetings with parents to discuss their child's progress and receive feedback.\
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to discussions about teaching practices and school initiatives.\
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in early childhood education.\
• Stay up-to-date with local, national, and international developments in early childhood education.\
• Promote the values of the organization, including respect, inclusivity, and social responsibility.\
• Represent the organization at external events and functions.\
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.\
