Job Opportunity: Senior Vet Nurse

About Our Practice

We are a modern, community-focused veterinary practice located in a busy shopping centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of vet nurses to support our veterinarians
  • Guide and develop the nurse team, fostering a positive team culture
  • Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Take initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum 2+ years of experience
  • Has experience coaching and mentoring vet nurses
  • Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Displays a calm and friendly presence
  • Exhibits great communication and customer service skills
  • Is flexible and adaptable within a team environment
