Maintenance Coordinator

Our organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to play a vital role in ensuring the physical safety, well-being and quality of life for our residents. This individual must be tech-savvy, practical, and able to maintain a well-maintained and secure home environment with pride.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and periodic maintenance and handyman services, including minor repairs to walls, cleaning stormwater grates, bin disposal and equipment ordering.
  • Coordinate external maintenance contractors for gardening, plumbing, electrical, emergency equipment servicing and building warranty repairs.
  • Support the Concierge with requests to assist new residents and their belongings into their new home.
  • Maintain the home in a state of readiness for any external audits.
Requirements:
  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families.
  • Hold a trade qualification or completion of Cert IV in Maintenance/Building Services.
  • Previous experience working within a maintenance, handyman or building services role.
  • Contractor management experience.
  • Be technologically savvy and IT competent, including Microsoft Suite.
