Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle and Wellbeing Team Leader to join our friendly team on a Full Time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team to deliver meaningful, person-centred activities enhancing the social, mental and physical wellbeing of our residents.
  • Implement social calendars and wellbeing programs that cater to diverse interests and needs.
  • Deliver engaging and person-centred activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical exercise.
  • Facilitate exercises, events, games, and other recreational activities that promote a sense of community and belonging.
  • Engage with residents, family members, and a skilled Care team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering Lifestyle programs and activities in a community services setting.
  • Certificates in Aged Care/Individual Support or Lifestyle/Leisure beneficial.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • A fun and energetic personality with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Horticulture, Art, Craft, Woodworking, Floristry, Jewellery making would be highly regarded.
  • NDIS Screening Check and NDIS Training Module (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience working with residents living with Dementia advantageous.
