About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Flinders Medical Centre's Adult Mental Health Services Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to consolidate their knowledge and skills in mental health nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing services within the Adult Mental Health Division, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the needs of patients are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • A current registration as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia and a practicing certificate.
  • Holding or enrolled in an approved mental health course, with demonstrated competence in mental health nursing practice.
  • Experience in quality improvement activities, such as developing and implementing clinical standards and protocols (desirable).
