Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our team at St Francis Xavier's College Hamilton.

About the Role

This is a temporary part-time position (0.4FTE) for 12 months, commencing in 2025. As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in Years 11 and 12, and contributing to the development of a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching programs in mathematics, aligned with the Australian Curriculum and the school's curriculum framework.
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their learning, using a range of assessment strategies to inform teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs that promote student learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and assessment policies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher.
  • Active NESA Accreditation.
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Completion of CPR training.
