Laundry Team Member

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team as a Laundry Team Member.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions and protocols.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Washing, drying, folding linens, towels, and personal clothing items according to established protocols.
  • Ensuring all laundry is handled in a manner that maintains hygiene and prevents cross-contamination.
  • Operating and maintaining laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and irons.
  • Monitoring and managing laundry supplies, including detergents and fabric softeners, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that laundry needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Adhering to safety and infection control standards at all times.
  • Providing exceptional service and support to clients, maintaining their dignity and comfort.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions and protocols.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and respectful attitude towards individuals living with dementia.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends if required.
