Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

The key responsibilities of this role include conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized rehabilitation plans that cater to a holistic approach.

This involves utilizing creative problem-solving skills, clinical expertise, and knowledge of injury management to facilitate the return to work of claimants.

Furthermore, the Rehabilitation Consultant will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.

Effective communication and presentation skills are also essential for presenting case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive desired outcomes.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Tertiary level qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Provisional Psychology, or Exercise Physiology
  • Registration as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Provisional Psychologist (AHPRA), or Exercise Physiologist (ESSA)
  • Previous experience in completing structured assessments or passion for supporting injured individuals to identify their strengths, transferable skills, and potential to establish a new career direction
  • Experience with complex case management and supporting clients to achieve their return to life or return to work outcomes, despite challenging circumstances
