The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will assist the Head Pastry Chef with the day-to-day operations of the dessert section. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section of the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency. You will be an enthusiastic and a highly energetic hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Calm and composed demeanour
  • Able and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
