Structural Boilermaker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Boilermaker to join our team at Employ Me, a leading construction company in Port Kembla.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and grinding tasks to ensure precise fit and finish of steel structures.
  • Use hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery, to shape and manipulate steel materials.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure structural integrity and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to plan and execute projects efficiently.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety standards and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification in Boilermaking or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and installation.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
