Aviation Training Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Technical Instructor to join our Aircraft Sustainment & Training team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality aviation training, support student development, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver technical training in Initial Employment Training and Post Initial Employment Training
  • Supervise Australian Defence Force personnel in a simulated working environment
  • Provide specialized skills and advice to support aviation technical training
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, government, and industry partners
  • Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy records of training documentation
  • Guide and mentor Defence trainees and students in best practice within the aviation environment

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated industry experience as a qualified Aviation Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate III/IV in Aeroskills or higher qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or technical training instructor experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
