We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to showcase their talents in a well-loved Indian restaurant and contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement menus that balance creativity, seasonal availability, and customer preferences.

• Ensure dishes are prepared according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.

• Order ingredients and optimize inventory to support kitchen operations.

• Strategically freeze and preserve ingredients to minimize waste and optimize kitchen efficiency.

• Foster collaboration with managers, dietitians, kitchen staff, and waiting staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food service.

• Introduce new cooking techniques, recipes, and menu items to enhance culinary offerings.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen during and after service.

• Monitor and maintain the quality of dishes throughout every stage of preparation.

• Participate in the selection and hiring process to onboard skilled and qualified kitchen personnel.

Requirements:

• Diploma level qualification in culinary arts.

• At least 2 years' experience in a busy restaurant environment.

• Friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of energy and motivation.

• Salary Package: $70,000 - $80,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
