About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Travel Consultants to join our industry leading travel agency team in Ballarat. We pride ourselves on delivering great service and creating unforgettable travel experiences for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Promote a range of travel products including holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours and experiences
  2. Build strong relationships with customers to manage their travel needs and provide expert advice
  3. Utilise Amadeus GDS to facilitate domestic and international travel bookings and manage customer payments
  4. Work closely with the sales team to achieve targets and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  5. Attend industry events to stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends and products
What You'll Need
  • Retail travel agency experience is essential
  • Certificate 3 in Travel or higher is preferred
  • GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo is required
  • A passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience is necessary
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
  • Strong organisational, attention to detail and problem solving skills are required
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary
  • Excellent personal presentation is expected
