APAC Commercial LeaderResMed seeks a senior legal professional to lead its Asia Pacific commercial operations. This role oversees the provision of legal counsel to commercial teams and ensures effective delivery of legal services across the region.
This position requires superior knowledge of legislation/legal systems to analyze novel or highly complex information and issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting, presentation, and influencing skills to express novel or complex legal concepts clearly and concisely for non-legal audiences.
The APAC Commercial Leader will manage a team of lawyers, oversee advice and support for commercial teams, and partner with senior commercial management in regional leadership teams. Key responsibilities include analyzing regional legal and corporate risk, offering alternatives and recommendations as required.
This role will also involve drafting and negotiating major commercial contracts, advising on commercial activities including sales, eCommerce, distribution, marketing, medical affairs, and compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with global counterparts to deliver repeatable and predictable legal advice to commercial clients.
To be successful, you will require a degree in law, a legal license, and mastery of common law. A minimum of 15 years' legal experience, proven leadership in a law firm or publicly traded company, and fluent English language skills are essential.
