Hospitality Support Specialist

Our care home is situated in a peaceful location on the banks of the Barwon River, in southern Victoria. It offers 60 beds, with dementia and respite care units. Our main goal is to enhance the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
About the RoleWe are seeking an individual who can provide support to our hospitality function, including catering, cleaning and laundry services.
This role allows you to utilize your food services and cleaning skills in a position where you can make a positive difference in the lives of our residents. You will be providing empathetic and personal support to them.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Complete required documentation and reporting
- Respond to residents' queries and requests
- Perform laundry duties including loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linen
- Assist with basic food preparation, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing
- Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work flexible shifts throughout the week
- Understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices
