Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at Ibis Mackay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full financial and accounting support, working closely with the leadership team to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Train and develop the Finance team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and financial integrity.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to gather essential data for long-term, annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting and forecasting.
  • Report on a quarterly basis results, forecasts, and P&L to owners.
  • Monitor financial performance against forecasts and budgets, analyze variances, and evaluate key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A highly competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum.
