Job Opportunity:

This position offers a chance to provide speech pathology services in regional North Queensland, working collaboratively with a range of specialists to deliver holistic care and long-term treatment strategies.

As part of a supportive and multidisciplinary team, you will administer assessments, provide treatment, and management for clients with speech, language, learning, and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.

The ideal candidate will be registered with Speech Pathology Australia and have a passion for providing quality healthcare to rural communities.

You will need to obtain the required qualifications, including a QLD blue card & NDIS worker screening, a current 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence, and the right to live and work in Australia.

  • Administer standardised and informal assessments within a multidisciplinary team to determine the nature and extent of their speech, language, learning, and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.
  • Provide treatment and management for ongoing therapy of speech, language, learning, and communication disorders that may be developmental, part of a disability, acquired as a result of injury or disease;
  • Deliver family centred early childhood intervention strategies;
  • Collaborate with specialists to provide holistic treatment for a diverse range of cases across the full spectrum of health concerns;
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered with Speech Pathology Australia;
  • Passion for providing quality healthcare to rural communities;
  • Ability to obtain the required qualifications, including a QLD blue card & NDIS worker screening, a current 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence, and the right to live and work in Australia.
