Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

• Lead financial reporting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Enhance internal reporting processes and develop analytical tools.
• Support audits with detailed schedules and variance explanations.
• Collaborate with accounting staff and provide guidance on financial procedures.
• Evaluate business initiatives from a financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
2. 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting.
3. CPA designation or progress toward one is an asset.
4. Experience with budgeting practices in a private enterprise.
5. Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is beneficial.
6. Knowledge of Great Plains and Management Reporter would be advantageous.
7. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
8. A positive and creative approach to problem-solving.
