About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Store Meat Operations Supervisor to join our team at our Winston Glades store in Yamanto. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the management of a small team of butchers
- Creating and managing rotas to ensure efficient operation of the meat department
- Generating orders and controlling stock levels
- Conducting regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Liaising with suppliers to negotiate prices and improve purchasing power
- Maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring a clean and organized working environment
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for analyzing data and making informed decisions
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment
