About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machinist to join our team at Haynes People in Pinkenba. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC lathes and milling machines, as well as manufacturing and refurbishing hydraulic cylinders and engineering components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and program CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components
  • Manufacture and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and engineering components to meet customer specifications
  • Interpret engineering drawings and use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet production deadlines
About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Machinist who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Trade qualification in Fitter and Machinist
  • Experience in programming and operating CNC lathes or milling machines
  • Experience in machining hydraulic cylinder components is highly desirable
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances
  • Commitment to safety and quality
