About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team at VMCH Mulgrave. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Person-Centred Care: Provide support and care according to the Care Plan and residents' preferences and strengths.
  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Apply person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents, considering their individual needs, stage of life, development, and strengths.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work effectively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care: Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent, and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
  • Experience in Aged Care: Have previous experience working in an aged care facility.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work within a team.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check: Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
