We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Accor, a global hospitality company. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on the challenge of maintaining the operational efficiency of our hotel.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems. You will also be involved in performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and carrying out repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools, and be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. A qualification in trade is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role or hotel environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking and replacing filters, cleaning equipment, and performing basic repairs.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
  • Assist in the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotel, including responding to guest requests and resolving maintenance-related issues.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure guest rooms and other areas are brought back into use as soon as possible.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and able to work well unsupervised.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
  • Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
