About the Role

We're seeking a versatile Maintenance Specialist to join our Maintenance team in Malaga. This full-time position reports directly to the Facilities Manager and requires someone with hands-on skills, adaptability, and a willingness to take on various general maintenance tasks within a laboratory setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance with emphasis on compliance with ALS Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  • Liaise with maintenance team members, section supervisors, and Facilities Management to report and resolve equipment issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Travel between sites in the Perth region using own transport as required.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in Carpentry and/or Joinery.
  • Ability to read drawings, build small structures, stud walls, hang doors, etc.
  • Current driver's licence (C class) manual.
  • Flexibility to work autonomously with minimal supervision while being committed to working as a team.
  • Proven ability to handle a diverse workload.
