Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with special services, including gift wrapping, gift registry, and locating merchandise.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers and meet sales targets.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to build sales and increase productivity, while maintaining a positive and engaging store environment.
Requirements
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail and/or homewares, with strong customer relationship skills.
  • Passion for homewares and/or food, with the ability to connect with customers through service and selling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift medium to large items, up to 30kg.
