About this role:

AAMG is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team in the southern Bowen Basin.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance and availability of defined fleets of equipment to achieve operational and financial objectives;
  • Ensure works are performed in a safe manner, in line with company HSE standards;
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including regular communication, planning and scheduling discussions;
  • Manage and lead a maintenance department to achieve goals and objectives;

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a HME Maintenance Superintendent;
  • A strong commitment to safety leadership;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in mining or heavy earthmoving environments;
  • Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification with significant experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr heavy earthmoving equipment;
  • Experience in managing capital expenditure programs;
  • Ability to deliver to deadlines and ensure operations are performed in accordance with company guidelines and cost targets;
  • Demonstrate high-level communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in a contract mining environment and proven customer focus;
  • Sound reporting and commercial acumen;
