Senior Retail Solutions Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Retail Solutions Architect to design, develop, and oversee end-to-end retail technology solutions.

  • Lead solution architecture design for retail technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions.
  • Define architectural standards, integration patterns, and best practices for retail systems.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and integrate retail technologies including POS, OMS, ERP, CRM, and WMS solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise data governance policies.
  • Oversee system integrations, data flows, and API strategies between retail applications and enterprise platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership during project delivery, including proof-of-concepts, solution validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with emerging retail technologies, market trends, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in IT with at least 5+ years as a Solution Architect in the retail industry.
  • Proven experience with retail systems.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations including merchandising, supply chain, store operations, and omni channel commerce.
  • Experience with integration platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices-based architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data models, APIs, and security protocols.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP and WMS implementation within retail.
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs, customer analytics, and personalization engines.
  • Enterprise architecture certification.
  • Previous experience in global retail roll outs and multi-country implementations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
