Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Estimator to oversee estimating, constructability, and programming for projects in our Energy sector, with a focus on Power and High Voltage projects.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Estimator at RPI, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for Energy projects, including materials, labor, staffing, and other project-related overheads.
  • Reviewing project plans and scopes of work to understand key requirements and challenges, ensuring projects are financially viable and informing decision-making processes throughout construction.
  • Maintaining current market knowledge and relationships with industry contacts, including suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors, to inform and verify project estimates, risk mitigation, price fluctuations, and trends across the market.
  • Assisting with bid preparation and proposals, ensuring accurate data is presented to clients and project teams.
  • Delivering detailed cost reports and estimates to key stakeholders, with insights and recommendations as required.

Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience as a Senior Estimator in the Energy sector. You'll also need:

  • Experience working with Substation, High Voltage, or Power projects.
  • Experience with Power Transmission projects, in an Estimating capacity.
  • An in-depth understanding of construction methodologies, including materials and methods used, as well as associated costs for Power and High Voltage works.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to critically assess presented information.
  • An ability to work with a range of different stakeholders, ensuring strong collaboration and communication throughout the delivery of the projects.
  • Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
