Emergency Response Specialist

We are seeking experienced and proactive Emergency Service Officers to join our expanding teams across Central and Southern Queensland regions.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to the coal mining industry and experience in emergency response services, with a proven track record of operational experience in a Fire and Rescue Service.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously and within a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical support to mining operations
- Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective emergency management
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members
- Standard 11 Induction
- Open Manual MR Licence or above
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- HLTPAT005 - Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
- UETDRMP007 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
- National Police Certificate (issued within the last 12 months)
- Certificate 3 in Emergency Response and Rescue, including relevant units of competency
- Coal Board Medical (Rescue)
- Construction Industry White Card
- PUAEME008 - Provide Pain Management
- RIIVEH201 - Operate Light Vehicle or RIIVEH305 - Operate and Maintain 4WD
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
- Workplace Health and Safety Qualifications
- Permanent and casual contracts available with excellent rates of pay
- 7 on-7 off roster with day and night shift rotations, and 12 or 12.5 hour shifts
