Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as a Retail Store Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging and rewarding role that will see you leading a team of employees and volunteers, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving the financial performance of the store.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent people leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve exceptional results. You will be an outstanding written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and the local community.

You will also have solid technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system, and be comfortable aligning to our organisation's Mission and Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of paid employees and volunteers
  • Ensure extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction
  • Embed exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards
  • Role-model a 'safety first' culture in our stores
  • Plan and manage the financial performance of the store
  • Build and support the volunteer workforce and engage with the local community
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar industry highly regarded
  • Excellent people leadership and management abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
