Key Roles and Responsibilities

Nasdaq is seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Back-End Java Developer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.


As a Back-End Java Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software applications that are scalable, secure, and reliable.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing software systems that meet business requirements
  • Developing and maintaining code using Java programming language
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of software projects
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, preferably in a Java environment
  • Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its ecosystem
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
