**Job Opportunity:**

As a key player in the Defence industry, UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.

Due to expanding scope of works within our portfolio, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Operations & Maintenance team at HMAS Albatross in the Shoalhaven Region of NSW. This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
  • Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
  • Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
  • Support subcontracted work packages as required
  • Support various sites in the region with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NSW

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

We expect the successful applicants to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
  • Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
