This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet.

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our vehicles, while also providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing regular maintenance tasks on buses to ensure compliance with regulatory standards;
  • Conducting thorough inspections and assessments to identify potential issues;
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and defects, using advanced diagnostic tools to quickly diagnose and fix problems;
  • Working collaboratively with other technicians to share knowledge and best practices.

You will work closely with our experienced team of mechanics to maintain our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are always in top condition.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current NSW MVTC Motor Mechanic trade certificate, along with relevant TAFE transcripts demonstrating course completion;
  • A current HR driver's license, or willingness to obtain one;
  • Proficiency in computer skills for accurate maintenance record management;
  • The ability to supervise and assist in training apprentices and trade assistants.

We also welcome applications from candidates with experience using diagnostic scan tools and working in bus maintenance and public transport operations.
