Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on infrastructure development and capital works projects
  • Oversee infrastructure maintenance programs, including funding, quality control, and compliance with relevant standards
  • Manage contract procurement, contractor performance, and compliance for infrastructure projects
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful project management and strategic direction
  • Support the Manager of Engineering & Works in decision-making and engineering matters
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the development of policies, procedures, and technical documents for Engineering Services
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience in local government, particularly in civil engineering or a related discipline, with a focus on infrastructure projects and capital works. You will also possess strong knowledge of local government regulations and Australian standards, as well as competency in using engineering software and project management tools.

About the Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary of $95,000 - $100,000, plus a range of excellent benefits, including superannuation matching, relocation assistance, flexible work arrangements, and professional development opportunities.
