About the Role

We are seeking a Production Support Officer to join the Material Transportation Business Line Division (MTB) of Metso.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure prompt processing of production orders to minimize customer and supply location impact.
  • Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Extension of material master parts to relevant facility location in the ERP system.
  • Proactively monitor outstanding supply items – generating reports and conducting continuous reviews.
  • Deal with internal customers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ongoing support to the production team.
  • General administration including front-of-house duties.

Requirements

  • Experience with SAP advantage.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office and an ERP system.
  • Administration, inventory, and purchasing experience.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A high level of attention to detail with strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • The ability to prioritize and time manage your work.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
  • You are a local resident with full working rights in Australia.
