About the RoleJamesValé Recruitment is seeking a skilled Timber Machinist to join our client's team in their Carole Park facility. As a Timber Machinist, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty state-of-the-art timber machining machinery, ensuring accuracy and speed in your work.
Key Responsibilities- Operate timber machining equipment, including drills, saws, and other machinery
- Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
- 2+ years of experience in timber machining or a related field
- Strong understanding of timber machining principles and practices
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor
- A competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience
