About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Westpac. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading the achievement of our strategy by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs
  • Provide and direct recommendations for process re-design and improvements and business solutions
  • Manage the development of detailed Business Requirements, Business Process Specifications, and/or System Functional/Non Functional Specifications
  • Review and revise documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Ability to provide direction and guidance to others to undertake required activities
  • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and pain points to highlight critical improvement opportunities
  • Able to extract insights from data to support the development and testing of data-driven solutions
