North Shore State School officially opened its doors in January 2018, becoming the newest State School in the rapidly growing Northern Beaches area of Townsville. With a focus on building a positive culture for learning, we cater to around 700 students from Prep to Year 6. Our modern and state-of-the-art facility provides students with everything they need to succeed and thrive.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide high-level grounds and facilities maintenance, ensuring the school premises are safe and well-maintained.
  • Support security duties, including banking of school funds, locking and unlocking buildings, and coordinating removal/disposal of rubbish.
  • Liaise with internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities.

**Requirements**

  • Proven ability to work independently and harmoniously within a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive, with proven skills in grounds care, general repairs, and maintenance.
