Food Preparation Assistant Required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced catering professional to join our team in Adelaide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service, and working effectively as part of a small and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items such as salads and sandwiches
  • Maintain the service area to high standards of cleanliness
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • Clean duties in kitchen and service areas
  • Receive and deliver stock as well as handle cash transactions
  • Work independently and demonstrate excellent time management skills

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a catering assistant
  • Basic knife skills
  • Familiarity with micros POS system (desired)
  • Coffee making skills (desired)
  • Reliability, organisation, and passion for work
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with flexibility and ability to multitask
