Role Overview: As a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing wet fire systems. Your responsibilities include maintenance, inspection, testing, repairs, and installations of sprinkler systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and testing of sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service and meet their needs.
- Attend regular toolbox talks and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Hold a trade qualification as a Sprinkler Fitter.
- Prior experience in similar roles, preferably within the fire industry.
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with AS1851/AS2118/AS2419/AS2941 standards.
- Have proficiency in fire sprinkler & hydrant systems, fire pump sets and water supply systems, deluge, pre-action, and wall-wetting systems, and gaseous suppression systems.
- Knowledge of fire panels and industry standards.
- Be registered as a sprinkler fitter through the relevant authorities.
- Possess a Scissor Lift Licence and a Boom Lift Licence.
- Become PIC-registered.
- Register with Super Fund and Co-Invest and Incolink schemes.
