Opportunity for an ED Registrar

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our multidisciplinary team at a leading public teaching hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in the Emergency Department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, surrounded by a team of experienced FACEMs. You will be responsible for assessing and managing patients presenting to the Emergency Department, as well as participating in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Eligible for either the Standard pathway, Competent Authority, Short Term Training Pathway or Specialist Pathway
  • All IMG's who have completed AMC MCQ 1 and eligible for the Standard Pathway
  • Those IMG's who are working in the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ and eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway
  • IMG's who are either a Specialist in the home country or within a year of obtaining their Specialist qualification and eligible for the Short Term Training Pathway
  • IMG's who have lodged their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable
