Are you passionate about helping others live their most meaningful lives?

We are seeking a qualified Therapy Assistant to join our team at Bethanie Fields Aged Care Home. In this role, you will facilitate therapy and lifestyle programs for residents, adapting activities to meet their individual needs under the guidance of a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.

A key component of this role is your ability to work autonomously, facilitating individual and group therapy sessions independently while also being confident in using your initiative and creative thinking to ensure sessions run smoothly. You will be working with a diverse range of residents, including those with advanced dementia, and will need to demonstrate experience in communicating effectively with care recipients, families, and team members.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) and previous experience in a Therapy Assistant role, ideally in an aged care or other healthcare environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
