About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technician to join our Respiratory and Sleep Medicine/Sleep Health Service at Flinders Medical Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies on patients and preparing reports to contribute to optimal patient treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality physiological recordings using a range of monitoring equipment
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Contribute to the development of an integrated team approach and culture that prioritizes patient needs
  • Provide technical support for SALHN research studies
Requirements
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline, such as physiology, psychology, neuroscience, or nursing
  • Ability to apply logical problem-solving skills to equipment malfunctions or non-standard test conditions
  • Previous sleep lab experience is highly desirable, but not essential
