Sleep Technician

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technician to join our Respiratory and Sleep Medicine/Sleep Health Service at Flinders Medical Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies on patients and preparing reports to contribute to optimal patient treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality physiological recordings using a range of monitoring equipment
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs to ensure the highest standards of care
- Contribute to the development of an integrated team approach and culture that prioritizes patient needs
- Provide technical support for SALHN research studies
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline, such as physiology, psychology, neuroscience, or nursing
- Ability to apply logical problem-solving skills to equipment malfunctions or non-standard test conditions
- Previous sleep lab experience is highly desirable, but not essential
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is available to work afternoon and night shifts, preferably Monday to Thursday. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are committed to ongoing professional development, we encourage you to apply.
