About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer Electrical to join our team on the Copper String 2032 project. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile project that will transform the way Australia generates its energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain relevant design parameter information for incorporation into detailed designs and construction specifications.
  • Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, check work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.
  • Ensure project engineering completion is on time and within budget.
  • Record completed work, costs incurred, materials used and retain progress drawings.
  • Accurate forecasts of costs and revenue and utilise corrective action in line with JH's authority and reporting frameworks to maximise the profit margin.
  • Assign work and assist with reviews for accuracy and adherence to required standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and planning authorities to ensure satisfactory completion of structures and construction work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent.
  • Diploma of Project Management in Engineering Science, Building, Construction or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years engineering experience with 4+ years site-based experience on $50 M Projects.
  • Project Engineer and operational experience.
  • Ideally have experience on transmission or substation projects.
