Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Nurse Educator for our residential aged care facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of clinical learning and development programs that broaden the scope of practice of clinical team and support workforce in delivering quality and safe care.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in developing and delivering education programs for clinical staff, conducting assessments and providing feedback to staff, and supervising staff in the clinical and care environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing and Registration
  • Postgraduate Specialist Qualification
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or Tertiary Qualifications in Education or Nursing with Post-Registration Qualification in Education or Working Towards
  • Highly Developed Complex Clinical Skills and Experience in Assessment, Treatment, and Evaluation within Older Adult Health Clinical Practice
  • Applied Knowledge in Adult Learning and Education Principles, Including CALD Populations
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Regulatory Compliance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Willingness to Obtain
