The Academic Affairs Department at AFBA seeks a qualified Academic Instructor to teach IS 4850: Understanding the Global Information Society in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Planning: Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to maximize student learning and achievement.
  • Classroom Management: Ensure timely and regular attendance at scheduled classes and office hours, adhering to university policies and procedures.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Prepare and deliver course materials, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with departmental standards and expectations.
  • Student Evaluation and Support: Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work, maintain accurate records of student progress, and submit final grade rosters in accordance with established university deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain the confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in a field relevant to the subject matter being taught.
  • Experience: Evidence of ability to provide high-quality instruction and a strong commitment to academic excellence.
