Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations
- Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with hotel goals and objectives
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets to ensure that costs are minimized and value for money is achieved
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
- Proven track record of managing and supervising maintenance staff
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
